Denial of service in Oracle VM VirtualBox Core before 7.0.16 allows local users to hang or repeatedly crash the hypervisor. Oracle has not disclosed the affected Core code path or the operation on attacker-controlled input that triggers the failure. A low-privileged account with logon access to the host infrastructure is required, and successful exploitation interrupts VirtualBox availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
