Denial of service in Oracle Java SE 8u401, 8u401-perf, and 11.0.22 allows remote attackers to interrupt the runtime via network input. Pack200 processing allocates excessive memory while handling attacker-influenced data in the Concurrency component. Exploitation requires a high-complexity path that supplies data to affected APIs, such as a web service or sandboxed untrusted Java code, and causes partial service interruption without data disclosure or modification.
