CVE-2024-2105

Service interruption via invalid BLE channel map

Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025

Improper input validation in the BLE controllers of seven JBL speaker models allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt service. The controller accepts an invalid channel-map field in a crafted BLE connection request, causing a crash or deadlock that halts playback and drops connections. No pairing or user interaction is required; the attacker must be within radio range, and recovery requires a manual reboot.
