Data read and modification via LOV XSS
Published Apr 16, 2024 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Oracle CMRO 12.2.3 through 12.2.13 allows remote attackers to read or alter accessible data via HTTP. The flaw is in the LOV component, but Oracle and the published researcher record do not identify the affected endpoint, parameter, or output-encoding operation. Exploitation requires another person to interact with a crafted request and can read a subset of accessible data or update, insert, or delete some accessible data across product boundaries.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
