Denial of service in Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Kit 8.8 allows local users with high privileges to hang or repeatedly crash the appliance. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Core component and has not published the operation on untrusted input that causes the failure. Exploitation requires a high-privilege logon to the appliance infrastructure and affects availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
