CVE-2024-20933Network attack vector

Unauthorized data modification via Engineering Change Order CSRF

Published Feb 17, 2024 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Oracle Installed Base 12.2.3 through 12.2.13 allows remote attackers to read and modify application data. The Engineering Change Order component accepts a victim-mediated HTTP request without adequately verifying that the victim intended it. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated network attacker to induce another person to submit the request, enabling limited reads and updates, inserts, or deletes.
