Integrity violation in the HotSpot component of Oracle Java SE allows remote attackers to modify critical or otherwise accessible data. Oracle has not published the faulty HotSpot API or the operation that mishandles supplied data. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled data to reach the affected API through a service or another network protocol, and it does not use untrusted applets or Java Web Start applications.
