Out-of-bounds write in libsdffextractor on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Apr-2024 Release 1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The chunk parser writes outside its intended memory buffer while processing chunk data; Samsung has not disclosed the responsible function or faulty calculation. Exploitation requires local access to reach the extractor, and successful memory corruption transfers execution to attacker-controlled code on the device.
