Local information disclosure via missing length check
Published Feb 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in libpadm.so on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Feb-2024 Release 1 allows local users to read unauthorized data. The padmd_vld_ac_prog_refine function lacks a length check before reading a buffer, permitting access beyond its bounds. Local access is required, and the documented consequence is information disclosure without reported modification or service interruption.
