Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jan-2024 Release 1 allows local users to read notification data. The Notification service fails to enforce access control before returning notification data; Samsung has not disclosed the affected function or request path. The attacker must execute locally on the device; no prior privileges or user interaction are required, and the reported impact is limited to notification confidentiality.
