Improper access control in Samsung DeX before SMR Jan-2024 Release 1 allows attackers to read other users' notifications. In a multi-user environment, DeX applies inadequate access-control logic when the device owner views notifications, exposing data assigned to another user profile. The issue affects selected Android 13 devices and requires physical access as the owner; the disclosed consequence is cross-user notification disclosure only.
