Code execution via SVG integer overflow
Published Apr 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Integer overflow in Adobe Animate 2023 23.0.4 and earlier and 2024 24.0.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted SVG file. Adobe identifies SVG parsing and integer wraparound but has not disclosed the affected function, overflowing calculation, or corrupted object. A victim must open the file, after which code runs with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=24.0.1
- Affected versionversion=23.0.0 <=23.0.4
