Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds file read
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Substance 3D Painter 10.0.1 and earlier allows attackers to disclose memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or bounds-checking operation that reads beyond allocated memory. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file, and exposed memory can reveal address-layout data that weakens ASLR without altering data or interrupting the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
