Code execution via stale PDF object access
Published Feb 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Use-after-free in PDF parsing in Adobe Acrobat and Reader 20.005.30539 and 23.008.20470 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. The PDF parser performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, producing a use-after-free condition. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious PDF or visit a malicious page, and resulting code runs in the current process and user context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
