Code execution via malicious file processing
Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Bridge 13.0.5, 14.0.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file format, parser, or the bounds-checking error that permits the write outside the intended buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and resulting code runs only in the current user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=13.0.5
