Code execution via unvalidated PS parser object
Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Use-after-free in Adobe Bridge 13.0.5 and earlier and 14.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious PS file. The PS file parser performs operations on an object without first validating that it still exists, causing use-after-free. Exploitation requires a victim to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and resulting code runs in the current process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=13.0.5
