Information disclosure via AcroForm Doc object over-read
Published Feb 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 20.005.30539 and 23.008.20470 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory. AcroForm Doc object handling fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page, and the resulting disclosure can help bypass ASLR.
