CVE-2024-20734

Memory disclosure via unchecked AcroForm object access

Published Feb 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

AcroForm use-after-free in Adobe Acrobat and Reader allows remote attackers to disclose process memory after a malicious file is opened. AcroForm handling performs operations on a freed object without first validating that the object still exists, exposing memory content and weakening ASLR. Affected releases are 23.008.20470 and earlier and 2020 20.005.30539 and earlier; exploitation requires a victim to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
