Memory disclosure via malicious-file out-of-bounds read
Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Substance 3D Stager 2.1.3 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the precise boundary-checking error that reads beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the disclosure can reveal memory used to bypass ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
