SQL injection via unsanitized faq parameter
Published Mar 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester FAQ Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to delete FAQ data through a crafted faq parameter. The delete-faq.php endpoint copies faq from the URL into a quoted DELETE statement before preparing it, so preparation does not parameterize the value. No authentication or user interaction is required; a tautology payload deletes every FAQ row, while broader database effects remain bounded by the web application's database privileges.
