Authentication bypass in Windows Kerberos allows remote attackers to impersonate a Kerberos server through a malicious network message. The Kerberos client accepts a spoofed server message after machine-in-the-middle interception or local-network spoofing; Microsoft has not disclosed the missing validation check. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled network positioning and victim interaction; successful impersonation bypasses Kerberos authentication for the forged exchange.
