Arbitrary database modification via unvalidated REST input
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 9, 2024
SQL injection in Cisco Data Center Network Manager 12.1.2 and 12.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. A REST API endpoint and the web interface pass insufficiently validated request input into internal database commands; Cisco has not named the endpoint or parameter. Read-only credentials and a non-SAN controller deployment are required; exploitation reads, modifies, or deletes database data and can interrupt device availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
