Browser script execution via reflected management input
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in Cisco Identity Services Engine allows remote attackers to execute scripts in the management interface via a crafted link. The web-based management interface reflects improperly validated user-supplied input into a page, allowing script execution in the interface's browser context. Exploitation requires an interface user to click the link and can expose sensitive browser-based information or alter content accessible in that session.
