Root code execution via stack buffer overflow

Stack-based buffer overflow in Cisco RV042, RV042G, RV320, and RV325 management interfaces allows remote authenticated users to run root code. The interface inadequately validates user-supplied data in crafted HTTP requests, allowing the input to overrun a stack buffer. Valid Administrator credentials and access to the web interface are required; successful exploitation executes code as the root user.
