Administrator-authenticated reload via improperly validated HTTP input
Published Oct 2, 2024 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Denial of service in Cisco Small Business RV042, RV042G, RV320, and RV325 routers allows remote authenticated users to force a reload. The web-based management interface improperly validates input in incoming HTTP packets before processing a crafted request. Valid Administrator credentials and management-interface access are required; successful exploitation interrupts routing while the device reloads.
