Reflected XSS via improper input validation
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Reflected XSS in Cisco Unified CCMP 12.6(1) through 12.6(1)_ES12 allows remote attackers to execute script code via a crafted link. The web-based management interface reflects user-supplied input without proper validation; Cisco has not identified the affected endpoint or parameter. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted link, after which script runs in the interface context and can access sensitive browser-based information.
