Cleartext credential disclosure via tech-support log
Published Oct 2, 2024 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Information disclosure in affected Cisco NDFC and Cisco NDO releases allows local users with a tech support file to read HTTP proxy credentials. An internal logging function writes configured HTTP proxy server administrator credentials in clear text into a log bundled in generated tech support files. Exploitation requires access to a generated support file; the disclosed credentials permit administration of the proxy used for external connectivity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
