Configuration changes or reboot via state-changing GET requests
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024
Improper authorization in Cisco ATA 190 Series firmware allows remote attackers to alter settings or reboot a device through its web interface. The embedded HTTP server accepts GET requests that perform state-changing operations instead of limiting them to retrieval. Web management must be reachable and user interaction is required; success permits limited configuration changes or a reboot, not command execution.
