Network-admin command execution via crafted command arguments
Published Oct 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Command injection in Cisco Data Center Network Manager 11.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run network-admin CLI commands. The REST API and web UI accept crafted command arguments without adequate authorization or validation, forwarding them to a managed device's CLI. Low-privileged access is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants network-admin command execution; SAN controller deployments are not affected.
