Unauthenticated account takeover via unverified password changes

Authentication bypass in Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem 8-202206 and earlier allows remote attackers to change any user's password. The authentication system's password-change process accepts crafted HTTP requests without verifying that the requester may reset the target account. No authentication or user interaction is required, and changing an administrative password grants the web UI or API privileges of that account.
