Cross-site request forgery in Cisco IOS and IOS XE web UIs allows remote attackers to alter device configuration through a crafted link. The web UI accepts configuration-changing HTTP GET requests without adequately ensuring that the authenticated administrator intended the action. Exploitation requires the HTTP or HTTPS server feature to be enabled and a currently authenticated administrator to follow the link; successful requests modify device configuration.
