Unauthenticated reload via malformed SIP parsing
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Cisco Unified Communications Manager before 12.5(1)SU9, 14SU4, and 15SU1 allows remote attackers to reload it via SIP. The SIP call-processing function improperly parses a crafted SIP message, causing an out-of-bounds memory write. No authentication or special configuration is required; a successful request reloads the server and interrupts voice and video communications.
