Command injection in Cisco Firepower Management Center allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands as root. The web-based management interface fails to validate certain HTTP request parameters before using them for command execution. Administrator-level credentials are required, and exploitation matters chiefly when expert-mode access has been restricted because default administrators already possess equivalent command capability.
