CVE-2024-20373Network attack vector

Denied SNMP operations via ignored extended ACL

Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Improper access control in Cisco IOS XE Catalyst SD-WAN allows remote authenticated users to perform denied SNMP operations. The SNMP configuration parser accepts an extended named IPv4 ACL although the packet-processing path does not support it, leaving no ACL applied to the listener. A valid SNMPv2c community string or SNMPv3 user credential and an administrator-configured extended named IPv4 ACL are required; IPv6 ACLs are unaffected.
