Unauthenticated ACL bypass via incorrect object-group deployment

Access-control bypass in Cisco Firepower Management Center 7.1.0 through 7.3.1 allows remote attackers to send traffic through protected paths. The Object Groups for ACLs feature deploys access-control objects incorrectly from FMC to managed FTD devices in high-availability pairs. Exposure requires an affected FMC release, an FTD high-availability configuration, deployment of the object groups, and a subsequent device reboot; successful traffic bypasses the intended ACL without altering the firewall configuration.
