CVE-2024-20348Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file read via PnP path traversal

Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Path traversal in Cisco Data Center Network Manager 12.1.3b allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through the data interface. The OOB PnP provisioning web server processes unauthenticated direct requests and fails to confine crafted paths to intended files. The affected service is enabled by default, is unreachable through management interfaces, and exposes sensitive PnP-container files that can facilitate further attacks.
