Cross-tenant template modification and deletion via improper authorization
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Improper authorization in Cisco Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator allows remote authenticated users to alter or delete other tenants' templates. The tenant security implementation accepts template write or delete operations without confirming that the target tenant is associated with the caller's role. A valid account with write privileges and the Site Manager or Tenant Manager role is required; successful exploitation can disrupt network traffic.
