Adjacent LLDP service crash via malformed frame fields

Improper LLDP frame handling in Cisco FXOS and NX-OS Software allows physically proximate attackers to crash the LLDP service. The LLDP parser mishandles specific fields in a crafted frame, and retrieving LLDP statistics through CLI or SNMP triggers repeated service crashes. LLDP must accept frames on an affected interface, the attacker must have direct Layer 2 connectivity, and an authenticated user must request statistics; the result is a stopped LLDP service or device reload.
