Information disclosure in Cisco Duo Authentication for Windows Logon and RDP 4.0.0 through 4.2.2 allows local users to read a registry key. The logging component writes an unencrypted registry key into log files, preserving the sensitive value in clear text. Exploitation requires high-privilege local access to those logs and exposes the key without enabling data modification or service interruption.
