Command injection in the CLI of Cisco NX-OS Software allows local users with low privileges to execute operating-system commands. A specific CLI command insufficiently validates a crafted argument before passing it to the underlying operating system. An authenticated local session is required, and injected commands run only with the privileges of the currently logged-in user.
