Reachable assertion in MediaTek WLAN STA driver on Android 13.0 through 15.0 allows local users with System privilege to interrupt service. Improper exception handling lets an undisclosed error path reach an assertion in the station driver; MediaTek has not published the triggering input or assertion locus. The same condition affects SDK release 2.4 and before, OpenWrt 23.05, and Yocto 3.3, 4.0, and 5.0; exploitation requires System privilege and no user interaction.
