Local privilege escalation via modem bounds error

An out-of-bounds write in MediaTek Modem NR16 on affected chipsets allows local users with System privilege to elevate privileges. The rpc_msg_handler function and related handlers in drivers/misc/mediatek/eccci/port_rpc.c apply an incorrect bounds check before writing attacker-controlled RPC data. Exploitation requires existing System execution privilege and no user interaction, and the write can cross the intended buffer boundary to gain higher local privilege.
