An out-of-bounds read in MediaTek WLAN drivers on affected SDK and OpenWrt releases allows local users to disclose memory contents. The driver improperly validates an input before reading beyond the intended buffer boundary; MediaTek has not disclosed the affected routine or input path. Exploitation requires existing System privileges, needs no user interaction, and affects MT6890, MT6990, and MT7622 chipsets.
