Information disclosure in MediaTek modem software NR15 through NR17 allows remote attackers to read information through weak encryption negotiation. The modem uses a risky cryptographic algorithm while negotiating connection establishment, leaving information exposed when the weak algorithm is selected. Exploitation requires negotiation of that algorithm; no privileges or user interaction are required, and the reported consequence is disclosure only.
