Out-of-bounds write in MediaTek Modem LR12A, LR13, NR15, NR16, and NR17 allows remote attackers to execute code via modem protocol input. The modem protocol handling path omits a bounds check before writing untrusted input, allowing a write beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires network reachability to an affected chipset's modem protocol; no user interaction or additional execution privileges are needed.
