Out-of-bounds write in MediaTek WLAN firmware on Android 13.0 and 14.0 allows local users to escalate execution privileges. The firmware fails to validate an undisclosed WLAN input before writing outside its intended buffer; MediaTek has not named the routine or input field. Exploitation requires existing System execution privileges, needs no user interaction, and can corrupt firmware memory during privilege escalation.
