Stored XSS via unescaped Checklist points

Published Feb 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Stored XSS in Restaurant Solutions – Checklist 1.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Checklist points. The plugin stores Checklist point input without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without output escaping, so injected browser scripts persist in affected pages. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; execution occurs in a visitor's browser.
