Reflected script execution via unencoded page heading
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in SourceCodester Online Learning System V2 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via the page parameter. The /index.php heading splits and transforms the page query value, then echoes the selected segment into an h1 element without HTML encoding. A victim must open the crafted URL; the injected script then runs in that user's browser context and can alter displayed content or access browser-readable data.
