Reflected XSS via unescaped file parameter
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Reflected XSS in WP-FeedStats WPB Show Core before 2.7 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted file parameter. The jplayer_twitter_audio.php endpoint places the file query value into its page response without sanitizing the input or escaping the output. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL; the injected script runs in that victim's browser session, including an administrator session.
