Authenticated database reads via customer SQL injection
Published Feb 27, 2024 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
SQL injection in search_sales_report.php in Free and Open Source Inventory Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read data. The endpoint treats a crafted customer value as SQL syntax, allowing a UNION clause to add attacker-selected expressions to the sales-report query. A valid session is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database expression retrieval rather than modification or deletion.
